We aim to optimize functioning, quality of life, well-being, and health across the lifespan for individuals living with the consequences of neurological conditions.
The lab integrates clinical assessments, daily life measures, patient-reported outcomes, and wearable sensor technologies to better understand movement, participation, quality of life, and long-term health outcomes. Complementing these approaches, the lab uses qualitative and mixed-methods research to explore the lived experiences, including contextual factors that shape participation, well-being, and healthy aging across the lifespan. Together, these approaches aim to develop, test, and implement evidence-based strategies that support healthy aging and lifelong well-being.
Our research lab is based in the School of Exercise Science, Physical and Health Education at the University of Victoria, Canada.
